The PokerGo Cup is officially in the books. All eight events have played out, with Isaac Haxton winning the final event on Friday. Other players also winning events include Punnat Punsri, Alex Foxen, Anthony Hu, and Justin Saliba.
Foxen, Hu, and Saliba Among Preliminary Winners
The last five events of the PokerGo Cup played to a conclusion last week, with events steadily moving up in buyins. Event #4 was the final $10k NL Hold’em Event of the series. The event’s final table was an elite affair with Erik Seidel, Adrain Mateos, and Andrew Moreno headlining.
In the end, it was Justin Saliba facing off against Anthony Hu heads-up. Hu started with the lead, but Saliba stormed back to take down the title and the $207,500 top prize.

Event #5 was the only $15,000 NL event of the series. Erik Seidel and Anthony Hu made the final table for the second day in a row and ultimately were the final two to battle for the title. Hu started with the chip lead and had to hold off a charge by Seidel late to finally take down the title. This was Hu’s third final table of the series and first victory. He earned $268,800 for the win.
Alex Foxen is a staple of the high-stakes community and cashed in an earlier event of the series. Event #6 was the first of two $25k NL Events, and Foxen finally earned his first title of the series. The final table included Sean Perry, Cary Katz, Sam Soverel, and Aram Oganyan. Foxen reached heads-up play with Orpen Kisacikoglu, but the pair chopped up the prize money and flipped for the title. Foxen won the flips for the trophy and $317,040 in prize money. Due to the chop, Kisacikoglu actually walked away with more prize money, earning $345,460.
Event #7 was the second $25k event and was lightly attended compared to the rest. Ultimately, Punnat Punsri defeated Daniel Colpoys for the title and $310,000 in prize money.
Isaac Haxton Wins Final Event
The closing event of the 2023 PokerGo Cup was a $50,000 NL Hold’em tournament. Just 26 entries were collected for this one, meaning only the final four players received a payday. Daniel Colpoys made his second straight final table but finished in 4th. Sean Winter was looking for his second series title but had to settle for second place.

Cary Katz had four cashes before this event and made it heads-up with Isaac Haxton for the title. Katz was unable to take down the title and ultimately fell to Haxton. This was Haxton’s first cash of the series, but he made the most of it. He won the closing event of the series for a $598,000 payday. While Katz fell short of the title, his runner-up finish was enough to catapult him into the top spot on the PokerGo Cup Championship leaderboard.
Cary Katz Takes the Title of PokerGo Cup Champion
During the series, players were also competing for the title of PokerGo Champion. Players earned points by cashing in events. The higher the placing, the more points are earned. In the end, Poker Central founder Cary Katz took down the overall title.

Catz cashed five times during the series and made four final tables. He overtook Anthony Hu for the title in the last event with a runner-up finish to Isaac Haxton. The majority of his points came in that final event.
Catz received a trophy to commemorate his wins and a $50,000 top prize. He also won the most prize money in the series, earning $655,800. He was the only person in the top five without a victory. Below are the top 5 players in the PokerGo Cup standings.
